Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to test his luck with 2.0 which is the costliest film made on Indian cinema. Shankar is the director of this sci fi thriller which has been announced for November 29th release. With a series of delays, the film’s Telugu rights have been left unsold. Though couple of top Telugu producers approached the makers of 2.0, the huge quote for Telugu rights left them stay back.
Top producers NV Prasad, Dil Raju and UV Vamsi will distribute the film on advance basis across the Telugu states. Irrespective of the regions, the three would share the profits across AP and Telangana. The theatrical trailer of 2.0 will be out on November 3rd. Lyca Productions bankrolled 2.0 and the film will release in 3D in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Amy Jackson is the heroine and Akshay Kumar is the lead antagonist.
