Tamil star hero Vijay’s Diwali release is doing sensational pre release business in all areas. The action entertainer, we hear, has set up a non Rajinikanth record with its overseas rights.
Reportedly, the overseas rights of Mersal have been bagged for a whopping 3.5 Crores by leading distribution house ATMUS Entertainment in association with US Tamil LLC. This is the highest ever deal for a non Rajinikanth Tamil film in overseas. Expectations are quite high on this Atlee directional and the makers are planning a massive release on October 18th worldwide.
The film also stars Nitya Menon, Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal in important roles. Made on a staggering budget, the film is coming from the stables of Sri Thenandal Studios which marks their 100th production. Oscar winner AR Rahman rendered the soundtrack for the film.
