Padmaavat Enters the 300 Crore Club

The artistic filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest historic marvel Padmaavat faced much trouble with the controversy and Karni Sena’s attack on the director was much debated about. After the film’s release, the reactions were quite mixed and some celebrities even condemned the over glorification of Jauhar in the film.

Nevertheless, Ranveer Singh’s performance as ruthless king Allaudin Khilji and Deepika Padukone in the title role earned much love unanimously. The film was praised for its visual excellence and amazing costumes as well. The film has now reached the 300 Crore Club to much delight of the director and his team.

Speaking of this milestone, Bhansali quoted that the protests were totally uncalled for and the film never intended to demean Rajput clan. He also expressed happiness for the success and mentioned truth finally prevails!
