Ace filmmaker Sreenu Vaitla is on a comeback trail after going through a rough patch over the past few years. For his comeback film, the Dookudu director teamed up with Ravi Teja which marks his fourth collaboration after Nee Kosam , Venky and Dubai Seenu.
Titled as Amar Akbar Anthony, the film will be entirely shot in US. Reportedly, Sreenu Vaitla ropes in yesteryear actor Laya for an important role in this film. Last seen in Telugu cinema eight years ago, Laya will be essaying the role of mother to Anu Emanuel, the leading lady of the film.
Laya moved to US post her marriage and she will be joining the sets shortly. Currently, Sreenu Vaitla is shooting some key portions in the pop sensation Jennifer Lopez’s mansion.
