The reasons for breaking away of TDP from BJP came up during the visit of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh who came here to lay foundation stone for BJP state office at Mangalagiri town near Amaravati capital city on Tuesday.
Rajnath said their party was still not able to understand what exactly made Chandrababu Naidu to break his ties with the NDA alliance at the national level. He accused Naidu of taking a U-Turn in his political career by opting to go against BJP suddenly and apparently for political benefits.
Rajnath said he wanted to remind everyone that nobody had ever successfully derived any benefits out of a partnership with Congress anywhere in the country. He went on to say that Naidu was trying to breathe new life into Congress which is now on ventilator support right now across the country.
