Tollywood actors have been quite interested and excited to essay the role of lead antagonist. NTR essayed the role with negative shades in Jai Lava Kusa and there are talks that he is playing the role of an antagonist in RRR. Rana and Aadhi Pinisetty are always open for roles with negative shades. Now the latest one to join the list is Varun Tej.
Tamil film Jigarthanda received critical acclaim and it raked massive money. Though Siddarth played the lead role, the film’s antagonist Bobby Simha and his character received wide applause. Now Varun Tej is said to play the antagonist’s role in the remake which is currently in talks. Harish Shankar is said to direct the remake that will start rolling soon.
Dil Raju already acquired the remake rights of Jigarthanda and the team is currently in hunt for the lead actor for the remake.
