Even though Telangana elections are over, war of words between the CMs of Telugu states still continuing. Yesterday KCR spoke to media and made serious comments on CBN. Today, CBN made shocking comments that KCR only orchestrated and organized Viceroy hotel episode.
Almost 2 decades back, CBN took over TDP from NTR and as majority MLAs were with CBN, he became CM. Many people describe this as ‘backstabbing (Vennupotu), and even CBN used the same word in some of the interviews given to media in 90s but he only justified that backstabbing from his side. When MLAs were in viceroy hotel, NTR came to the hotel and from outside the hotel he called MLAs to come back to him. However, Chappals were thrown at NTR and he had to leave the place. Political opponents still blame CBN for this viceroy hotel episode. However, now KCR blaming CBN on the same did not go well with CBN.
CBN reminded that KCR was also with him on that day in viceroy hotel. CBN reminded that after that viceroy episode during which KCR was with CBN, KCR was given a ministry and he served as minister in CBN’s cabinet. Even though these are all facts, CBN reminding people about KCR orchestrating viceroy episode (of course on behalf of CBN), came like a jolt to KCR. We will have to wait and see how KCR respond on these comments of CBN.
