Natural Star Nani is all set to surprise the audience as a cricketer in his next film Jersey. The film is an emotional sports drama that is inspired from real life events. As per the update, the film is loosely inspired from the life story of Indian cricketer Raman Lamba. The veteran cricketer after hit by a cricket ball on his temporal bone, slipped into coma due to internal haemorrhage and passed away after three days after the incident
The film will have a tragic ending as per the story. Nani will be seen in three different characters in the film and the story will be narrated from his childhood days. Nani will be seen in dual roles as a young Ranji player and a father in Jersey. The entire shoot of Jersey is wrapped up and the film is heading for summer release. Gowtam Tinnanuri is the director and Shraddha Srinath is the heroine.
