Ace producer Dil Raju is planning to remake upcoming Tamil film Nerkonda Paarvai in Telugu. Reportedly Dil Raju watched this Ajith starrer which is the official remake of Bollywood hit Pink and he is thoroughly impressed with the script and lead character. He felt that the story has universal appeal and will definitely work well in Telugu if a star hero reprises the lead role.
Sources close to Dil Raju revealed that he is looking to rope in Balakrishna to do the crucial role of seasoned lawyer around whom the entire plot revolves. In Hindi, Amithab Bachchan done that role and Ajith reprised it in Tamil. If Balakrishna agrees to Dil Raju proposal, there are good chances that the film will be remade in Telugu. Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor will jointly produce the film.
Balakrishna is currently busy shooting for KS Ravi Kumar’s film. If he evinces interest, Dil Raju might arrange a special screening for him. It remains to be seen if this interesting social drama gets its Telugu version soon.
