Rana is roaring to resume shooting. He has almost recovered from his ailment. Even though doctors have advised him not to overwork and take things a bit slow, he doesn’t want to sit idle at home. He is eager to commence the shoot of director Venu Udugula’s ‘Virata Pravam’ that was launched four months ago.
‘Virata Parvam’ is a period drama set in rural Telangana at the height of the Naxals movement. Rana is playing the role of a Naxalite while his lead pair Sai Pallavi is a folk singer. An intense love story with realistic taking, the movie has already generated good buzz with its first poster. Leaked images of Sai Pallavi from the sets have also added buzz.
At present, Sai Pallavi is shooting for director Sekhar Kammula’s dance-based love story. She has given dates to Rana’s movie next month and Rana might join the sets in November.
