The whole of Telangana Congress unit is in national capital Delhi to protest, demanding hiking of reservations for BCs. As Rahul Gandhi has been demanding Caste Census assiduously, he has been promoting the BC Census taken up by Congress Government in Telangana, as an ideal model for the entire nation.

Taking Congress scion Rahul Gandhi’s ideology further, CM Revanth Reddy and his team has been demanding hike in BC reservations and presenting BJP as the villain obstructing it. After passing a Bill in Assembly, bringing in an Ordinance, Telangana Government has requested Governor and President to intervene in the matter, to ensure hike in reservations for BCs.

By taking BC reservations issue aggressively, CM Revanth Reddy has raised curtains for the blame game. All the three main political parties in Telangana – Congress, BJP and BRS – have been alleging others of fake love towards BCs.

Both BJP and BRS have been alleging that, Revanth Reddy Sarkar has just been misleading BCs in this issue, knowing very well that increasing the cap on reservations beyond 50 percent is not possible. On the otherside, Congress has been going all out saying, BJP is against BCs, questioning ‘When EBC quota was given, why quota for BCs is not possible?’

Though Congress is trying to present BJP as anti-BC, its propaganda is not working out as Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself hails from BC community.

As the arguments and counter arguments are continuing, BJP leaders are also attacking CM Revanth Reddy, questioning why can’t he give his CM post for BCs, if he is so committed towards BC reservations.

Continuing the same line of attack, BJP and other Congress detractors may even question, ‘Can Rahul Gandhi announce BC as Congress PM candidate?’ If this question gathers weight, then not just Rahul Gandhi but entire Congress cadre will be in a fix.
