Sankranthi is one of the biggest season for Telugu movies after summer. Every year a bunch of films test their luck during this season. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NTR, Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama and Venkatesh – Varun Tej’s F2 are hitting the screens during this Sankranthi. Here is a small analysis about the films and their expectations:
NTR: NTR is the biopic of legendary actor and politician NTR. Director Krish and Nandamuri Balakrishna have been highly successful in bringing up huge buzz for the film through the promotional activities. The looks of several actors thrilled the audience and the expectations reached the skies. The film is the first release during this season and will release on January 9th. Balayya is banking high on the charishma of NTR and the film is expected to open with a bang. NTR is an emotion across Telugu states and the audience too are eagerly waiting to watch the life story of the legendary personality on silver screen.
Vinaya Vidheya Rama: Ram Charan and Boyapati Sreenu are teaming up for the first time for an out and out mass entertainer Vinaya Vidheya Rama. The film’s teaser reveals that the film has all the ingredients to impress masses. Boyapati is also betting big on family emotions. Vinaya Vidheya Rama will sure open with a bang and mass films generally fare well at the box-office during the festive season. Vinaya Vidheya Rama will sure have an advantage of opening big and performing well during the holiday season. The theatrical rights of Vinaya Vidheya Rama have been snapped for a record price. Vinaya Vidheya Rama is releasing on January 10th.
F2: Hattrick director Anil Ravipudi is testing his luck with a multi-starrer that features Venkatesh and Varun Tej in the lead roles. The film’s teaser that has been out recently impressed the audience hilariously. Though F2 carried low buzz before the teaser release, things changed completely and the film is expected to give a stiff competition for the other Sankranthi biggies. Tollywood audience have been waiting to witness Venky’s comic timing as they missed it from some time. F2 has been aimed for family audience majorly and is expected to have a decent run post Sankranthi if the comedy clicks. F2 is gearing up for a wide release on January 12th.
All the three Sankranthi films have been carrying high expectations and we have to wait to see which film fares well.
