As soon as the teaser of Agnyaathavaasi was unveiled, there were rumours that the film is inspired by a French novel, Largo Winch( a French movie based on the novel with the same name was made in 2008) which narrates the story of a billionaire’s son who comes from obscurity to claim the rich legacy after his death. This news has not only excited Telugu audience, but has also drew the attention of Jerome Salle who directed the French film, Largo Winch.
Amidst all the speculations, Jerome Salle has decided to find out the real truth behind the ongoing rumours and watched the premier show of Agnyaathavaasi in overseas. Jerome was thrilled with the great atmosphere during the screening, but the plot of Agnyaathavaasi couldn’t excite him as he found much familiarity with his own film.
He took to Twitter to express his displeasure and posted : ‘Screening at #LeBrady tonight. Great atmosphere thanks to the audience. I could‘ve loved the movie but unfortunately the plot was too familiar. #LargoWinch #Agnyaathavaasi
