With Kamal Haasan’s next film, Saabash Naidu – a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi – all set to roll from May, it is learnt that another family member is set to join the team. Yes, Akshara Haasan is likely to be a part of the team as an assistant director to TK Rajeev Kumar.
Akshara was seen backstage during the event when the title was announced, managing the programme while Kamal and Shruti were on stage. It was reported by a leading English daily, that she’d be the assistant director of the film. “Yes, Akshara is going to work as an assistant director in this film. The shoot will commence in Los Angeles from next month,” said the report, which added, “This is not the first time Akshara will be working as an AD, she has already worked as one in a couple of Hindi films before she made her acting debut with Shamitabh.”
