AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is working hard to fulfil his election promise of presenting the people of the state a world class capital city after the senseless bifurcation of the state.
It is coming out that CRDA almost finalised the chief master architect for the construction of government buildings. Inside talk is the opportunity will go to London based renowned arcitect Foster and Partners.
Foster and Partners, Space Group,GMP international organisations competed to bag the bid when CRDA called for international tenders. On opening the technical and financial tenders, Foster and Partners stood L1 according to CRDA officials.
It is not clear how much Foster and Partners quoted and CRDA is maintaing secrecy over the entire event. sources say officials are discussing with the Foster and Partners to bring down the quote and once clarity comes on it, final decision will be taken in the meeting of CRDA headed by CM Chandra babu.
Everything will come clear in another four days. CRDA earlier called for tenders earlier too and selected Japanese firm Maki and Associates. But after allegations came on the designs of the firm, it scraped the deal with the Japanese firm Maki.
