Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu seems to have not at all fascinated by things Indian. He never speaks of things Indian, Practices Indian and experts of India.

He always relies on foreign experts and consultancies and companies. His plan is to make upcoming Capital city of Andhra Pradesh Amaravati into a world-class capital. Though he visited many Indian new capitals such as Naya Raipur to study them, he never talked of them.

He said his capital would be modeled on Singapore. The master plan is prepared by Singapore Companies. Singapore ministers visited Amaravati a dozen times. He himself visited Singapore three or four times. He sent officials to learn Singapore style of work. Sometimes he said Japan, Malaysian, Chinese elements would also be incorporated into Amaravati. So far so good.

Yesterday day while on a visit to Nellore, he said he would develop Nellore town into a city that would excel Singapore. Nellore audience were a bit confused. There were no claps.

On Monday, while touring Praskasam district, he asked the people sitting in his public meeting to emulate Israel. He was terribly upset by the indiscipline he saw in the crowds at the meeting. He warned them that he would not implement any scheme to the village if the people were indiscipline in the meeting. As usual he gave a lecture on being a disciplined people. He asked them to learn discipline from Israel. Today he participated in the Janmabhumi Program in Rayavaram village of Markapuram Mandal. Incidentally, except the officials that accompanied the CM, none of the villagers is aware of the existence of a country called Israel.
