Bikshapathi Yadav, Congress MLA candidate from Serilingampally Assembly constituency met Superstar Krishna and sought his support to him. It is learnt, Krishna has positively responded to him.
Bikshapathi Yadav, was MLA from the same constituency during 2009-14 through Congress party. However, in 2014,he stood at 3rd place and Arikepudi Gandhi, TDP candidate won from here with thumping majority and TRS candidate stood at second place. Now Gandhi is contesting from TRS as he shifted loyalties after elections. Bikshapathi Yadav is expected to contest from here but there are some reports that TDP wants to contest from here as part of pre-poll grand alliance.
Event though ticket is not yet confirmed, Bikshapathi Yadav started off with his campaigning. During his campaigning at Nanakram Guda, he went to the house of Superstar Krishna and sought his support. Bikshapathi Yadav revealed to media that Krishna has responded positively on this. It is known news that krishna also was member of parliament through Congress party in late 80s.
