Super talented director Surendar Reddy scored massive hits like Athanokkade, Kick and Race Gurram in his career. Along with these, the young director also has enough debacles in his kitty. He was in talks with Ramcharan for a film during which Charan asked him to remake Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. He took his time and gave his nod to remake the film. Surendar Reddy revealed that he did not make much changes to the original and it took two months to pen the Telugu version.
Speaking during the recent media interaction, Surendar Reddy said “It’s quite easy to direct the script penned by me. It is very difficult to direct a remake. I even revealed this to Charan during the shoot of the film. Dhruva will be my first, last remake and I will not direct any remakes soon”. Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead and the trailer, songs have already been well accepted by the audience. Amidst huge expectations, Dhruva is all set for December 9th release.
