After the success of director Satish Vegesna’s ‘Shathamanam Bhavathi’, a Dil Raju production venture which also won a prestigious National Film Award, curiosity piqued over the director’s next project. Going by the latest development, Tarak may do this film.
In the success meets of SB, Dil Raju announced that he would be producing Vegesna’s next film, which will be another family entertainer relying on values and emotions. Later, it came out that the film was titled ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’. Sai Dharam Tej’s name was first heard as the probable hero to play the lead role. Dil Raju later thought of roping in a star hero to widen the film’s reach and approached Ram Charan.
The Mega hero was interested to do the project but as he would be just completing ‘Rangasthalam’, a village-based entertainer, he didn’t want to do a similar film. Now, Dil Raju has finally knocked the door of NTR with the proposal of Srinivasa Kalyanam. He offered fancy remuneration to the star hero to sign him. If Tarak gives his green signal, this family entertainer will be his immediate next project after Trivikram’s film.
In fact, NTR wanted to reunite with Koratala following Trivikram’s film. Koratala however will be busy with Ram Charan’s film, which will go on floors in the summer next year, after he was done with ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’. Hence, NTR is still looking for a worthy follow up to Trivikram’s film. Will Srinivasa Kalyanam be that film?
Tarak hasn’t done a family entertainer post Brindavanam, which was also a Dil Raju production venture.
