Fact Check – Gossip website’s mudslinging on Pawan continues

Unable to digest the grand success of Pawan Kalyan’s Key note speaker appearance at TANA 2019 convention held in Washington D.C. recently, a Telugu gossip website has stooped to lowest level to spread malice on him. It claimed that Pawan Kalyan received a payment of 50,000 US dollars from TANA organisers to attend the event. However, sources at TANA dismissed these reports as baseless rumours. They have clarified that the association has not paid a single penny for Pawan Kalyan’s visit as Key Note speaker. The gossip site also claimed that TANA organisers collected entry fee for Pawan’s session to make up for the expenses of his trip. It should be noted that TANA never charges separately for one particular show of the convention. The three day event pass which TANA donors , registrations have would cover the Pawan’s session with no extra cost. The organisers have clarified that they have sponsored just the travelling ticket  for Pawan Kalyan which they usually do for all dignitaries.

It seems like the website is making a deliberate attempt to mudsling on Pawan Kalyan after his presence evoked a tremendous response from NRIs.The website, prior to the event , reported that Pawan Kalyan is in a dilemma to attend the event because TANA is dominated by one particular community and his presence might invite criticism and tarnish his political image. But Pawan ignored these blackmailing write-ups and stick to his word.

After it has been officially confirmed that Pawan is going to attend the event, another article surfaced on the same website that the Janasena party president might face embarrassment because TANA is like a TDP convention. It is also mentioned that Pawan is reluctant but Chandra Babu Naidu is pushing him to attend the event. Now, as Pawan Kalyan’s session and TANA event turned out to be a super hit with close to 12,000 guests attendance , the website is desperate to malign Pawan’s image by writing some nonsense just to garner some clicks.
