Akkineni Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil haven’t tasted success in recent years. Though Nag did not express, he was left worried with the careers of Chaitu and Akhil. Chaitanya keeping the results of his films aside, signed back to back films and wrapped up on time. He tested his luck with Majili which released yesterday and received a top-notch response from the audience. The film registered stunning numbers on day one and the performances of Chaitanya, Samantha received rave reviews.
The entire Akkineni family watched the film in a private screening in Annapurna Studios Thursday night. Nagarjuna was the happiest among the family and he is left delighted with the film’s result. The entire family celebrated after Majili brought much-needed success. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film featured Naga Chaitanya, Samantha, Divyansha Kaushik in the lead roles. Shine Screens produced Majili and the film is expected to end up as the biggest hit in Naga Chaitanya’s career.
