Senior star Victory Venkatesh’s latest film,Guru, which released today has opened on a positive note in Telugu states. The sports drama, which is remake of the runaway Hindi hit Saala Khadoos, has been getting decent reviews from yesterday premier shows in Hyderabad. On its first day, the film is going to register strong numbers in both the Telugu states due to the solid advance bookings.
Venky’s standout performance and engrossing narration by Sudha Kongara are the major highlights for the film. The positive talk will definitely help the film to have a good run this weekend. As Katamarayudu is hardly making any noise at the box office, it will be a huge advantage for Guru to shine in its first weekend . It remains to be seen how well Guru fares at the box office.
