Harish Shankar is one of the best writers and directors of Telugu cinema. He had to slow down after the release of Gaddalakonda Ganesh due to various reasons. He started the shoot of Ustaad Bhagat Singh but the shoot came to a halt after Pawan Kalyan turned busy with AP politics. The shoot resumes later this year but there is no clarity about the next schedule of the film. Harish Shankar decided to complete a quick film and he took up the remake of Raid. The film featuring Ravi Teja is happening at a fast pace and Harish Shankar is in plans to release the film post summer and move on to his next.
Harish Shankar has been in touch with Megastar Chiranjeevi from a long time. He recently narrated an idea and got the nod from Megastar. If Ustaad Bhagat Singh gets delayed, Harish is in plans to start Megastar’s film after the top actor completes Vishwambara. Harish Shankar is now working at a jet speed and is lining up back-to-back films. He also has a couple of other projects lined up and they will be announced next year. He is in plans to fill back the work gap that came over these years.
