Talented director Harish Shankar has been in news last year for his unusual comments on critics after his recent outing Duvvada Jagannadham received poor reviews from the critics. It has been almost a year and the ace director is yet to start his next film which has been titled Daagudu Moothalu. After a long search, Sharwanand and Nithiin have been roped in for the lead roles and the female leads are being finalized. If things fall in place, the regular shoot kick-starts during the second half of this year.
Without his next project rolling, the ace director in a hurry stepped out with an official announcement about his next project and titled it Seetimaar. A source close to the director revealed that young director Sampath Nandi is in plans to register the title Seetimaar because of which Harish had to rush. With no script and actor on board, just an announcement has been made as of now. Harish is said to spend time on the script after he wraps up all his work for Daagudu Moothalu. Harish’s close friend Krishna will bankroll this project and Harish revealed that a top actor who is currently in success streak will play the lead role.
