Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh within 24 hours of taking oath as member of state legislative council, resigned to his position as Director at Heritage. The TDP MLC announced his move on twitter and termed his 9 years journey as a “memorable” one.
Lokesh held that under the leadership of his mother Bhuvaneswari and wife Brahmani the firm will scale greater heights. It may be recalled that the TDP leader in MLC nomination claimed that his wealth was built on Heritage which was founded in the year 1992 by his father Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Lokesh is holding 25 lakh shares in the Heritage Foods, which has recently seen a quantum leap in his fortunes
The TDP leader was elected to the Council under the MLA quota earlier this month. While all other council members took oath in Council Hall, Lokesh was sworn in in the Business Advisory Committee room which was followed by chanting of hymns by Vedic scholars to bless him. He is likely to be inducted into Chandrababu Naidu Cabinet soon. If the buzz is to be believed the muhurtam for the Cabinet reshuffle is at 9.25 am on April 2.
