The TDP is upset over the allegations being made by YSR Congress Party leaders in ‘Kodi Kathi episode’. The ruling party leaders are now discussing how their leader and CM N. Chandrababu Naidu has avoided violence despite the killings of TDP leaders during the YSR regime. The latest allegation by Opposition leader Jaganmohan Reddy has taken even CBN by surprise going by the fact that Jagan’s charges would not stand in a court of law as well as in people’s court.
Not stopping at that, Jagan has recounted his charges during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra road shows when he accused CBN of conspiring to kill him. As a consequence, CBN hit back at YCP president saying that Jagan is now impatient and desperate after his ‘Kodi Kathi drama’ has drawn very poor response from the public. CBN has asserted that the Kodi Kathi episode has met with its unavoidable failure because of its lack of even an ounce of truth in it.
Naidu recalled how he has been following a policy of peace and harmony in public life by discouraging TDP cadres to resort to revenge violence during its regimes. CBN also challenged the rival leaders to make comparisons of records of political violence during their regimes and to that of TDP in his forty years of long career.
CBN further questioned the relevance of Jagan’s allegations as the Opposition leader would not make a police statement nor would he give any proof to aid in proper investigation of the case.
