The 2019 election plans for YCP are mostly made in KCR’s den – Hyderabad. The Prashant Kishor team is stationed there to supervise and execute all ideas for the victory of Jaganmohan Reddy in AP. This has naturally impacted the strategy formation. The KCR’s poll management slogans are being copied ditto in AP.
It’s well-known how KCR promised and formed many districts in Telangana. This has triggered lot of tensions with people demanding their areas to be announced as districts. Now, Jaganmohan Reddy is assuring to form a total of 25 districts in AP. Right now, there are 13 districts in the state. While the YCP leaders are welcoming this, the TDP leaders are saying that it is evidence for the secret deal between TRS and YCP.
Already, lot of anti-KCR sentiment has begun in AP. Though the YCP has not openly associated with the TRS, it’s going into the public that there’s an understanding between the two parties. Instead of undoing this damage, the PK team has obviously gone on an aggressive mood in copying KCR ideas. This shows how they consider the ideas that brought success in Telangana will also give similar results in AP.
