For people who follow movies and politics, Kalyanram Nandamuri is known as one of the heirs of NTR Sr, a passionate actor and a gutsy producer. But, not many know that he is an acute businessman too. Kalyanram has made very good investments over the years.
Afresh, Kalyan Ram has acquired a pharma company located in the outskirts of Hyderabad for Rs 200 crores. He has made investments in life sciences sector previously too. Nandamuri family already has interests in Life Sciences domain through their active involvement in Basavatarakam Trust.
Even though Kalyanram is a successful investor, and despite he has faced multiple setbacks as a producer, he still continues to make movies out of sheer passion, a trait that he has inherited being a member of Nandamuri family. At present, he is bankrolling his younger brother, NTR Jr’s ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ on his NTR Arts banner. As an actor, he has signed two films – MLA and a yet-to-be-titled film in the direction of Tamil director Jayendra.
Besides owning a production house, Kalyanram also owns a VFX company named “Advitha Creative Studios”. His firm has provided special effects for several movies including his babai Balayya’s “Legend”, “Nannaku Prematho” and “Jai Lava Kusa”.
