Nandamuri Kalyan Ram ended his flop streak with 118 because it emerged as a decent box hit after its release in February this year. He is now very cautious about signing his next films as he wants to try different genres. Reportedly, he has agreed to work with new director Mallidi Venu for his next film which is titled as Thuglak. The regular shooting of this film is expected to commence very soon.
According to the fresh reports, Kalyan Ram has given nod to sensible filmmaker Satish Vegesna for his future project. Sources revealed that the Shatamanam Bhavathi director has impressed Kalyan Ram with a family drama. He is now busy giving finishing touches to the script. Like his previous films, this film is said to be a clean family drama involving plenty of emotions. Kalyan Ram wants to get closer to the family audience and he has immediately green signalled the storyline narrated by Satish Vegesena.
