A team of 10 technical and legal experts more than a month ago, from Germany, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai visited the accident site where the Benz SUV of Nishith Narayana crashed into a metro rail pillar in Jubilee Hills. They also went to the Mercedes showroom in Bowenpally to inspect the vehicle. The Police investigation in the accident case of Andhra Pradesh Minister Narayana’s son Nishith and his friend’s Raja Ravi Chandra is in progress.

Police officials have written to Mercedes Benz India seeking the details of the verification, specifically if they found any faults in the car after their site visit. The officials who sent a reminder email again, were disgruntled with response from the car manufacturers. Especially with the German company asking the police to furnish the investigation details and post mortem report. Police Investigation reports are secretive and so they cannot give away the details. The investigators will now route the request through the higher officials for the next steps.

Police have written an email in May and sent a reminder to get the details about the vehicle so that they can arrive at a conclusion about the reasons that led to the fatal accident.

Nishith and his friend K Raja Ravi Chandra died in a road accident after their car hit a Metro Rail pillar on May 10 near Jubilee Hills Road No 36. They deceased were driving G-63 AMG model of Mercedes which costs approximately Rs 2.07 crore.
