It is known about the noise BJP leaders made after the release of Vijay’s movie Mersal which got a huge boost for the movie. Despite of several controversies, the makers showed no interest to chop off an episode that reveals about the impact of GST in India. Now the BJP leaders are keen on Bollywood big ticket movie Padmavati which has been slated for November 1st release.
BJP now wants the movie to be delayed and Election Commission along with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) have been asked to put the film’s release on hold. BJP spokesperson IK Jadeja revealed that the sentiments of Kshatriya community may be hurt after watching the film because of which they have requested for the film to be delayed. There are talks tha BJP is keen as elections are approaching soon in Gujarat and they are not in a mood to hurt the sentiments of the Rajputs in the state.
