Naidu or RK? Who conspired chappal attack on Vishnu?

BJP AP General Secretary Vishnu Vardhan Reddy was one leader who was frequently appearing on news debates on the ABN channel. This was going on despite his known stand taken in favour of the Jagan Reddy regime’s policies in many respects including the Capital shifting. Now, a sensation was created as Vishnu Vardhan came under chappal attack during a heated debate on ABN channel.

During the heated exchanges, Vishnu Vardhan referred to Amaravati Parirakshana Samiti leader Kolikapudi Srinivas as a paid artist. This was the very same term that the YCP leaders would always use against the TDP leaders and Amaravati agitators. However, Mr. Srinivas lost his cool and flung his chappal at Vishnu Vardhan in the heat of the moment. It triggered a big controversy with the BJP and the ruling YCP leaders suspecting the roles of ABN Radha Krishna and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu behind the incident.

More interestingly, YCP MLA Ambati Rambabu tweeted saying that there might be the involvement of the ABN channel as well behind this attack. On their party side, the BJP leaders asserted they were seeing this as an attack on their party’s policies but not as an isolated incident involving one leader.

The BJP also demanded Chandrababu Naidu to condemn the incident saying that the attacker was close to the TDP leaders considering his loyalty to the pro-Amaravati agitation.
