Guntur: Giving a detailed powerpoint presentation on Telugu Desam Party membership registration, TDP fund welfare co-ordinator Nara Lokesh on Thursday announced Rs 2 lakh would made Fixed Deposit (FD) for every senior party worker in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the 3rd day training session being held in K L University in Guntur, Lokesh claimed that so far the TDP party extended financial help to the TDP workers to the tune of Rs 15 crore from the party welfare fund. He called upon the TDP leaders to give befitting reply to the leaders of the opposition parties.
He also said that the party has decided to make ‘one leader-one rank’ policy for every party worker and leader. The financial help would be extended to the party wokers from the interest of the TDP welfare fund, he said.
Several doubts were raised by the TDP leaders after the TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh skipped first two days of training session on Tuesday and Wednesday.
There was speculation that Lokesh is learnt to have been sulking over the delay of cabinet expansion and this might be the reason for Lokesh not attending the training session for the two consecutive days.
