When news that Navdeep “ran away” from a “rave party which took place at his farm house in the city” was aired by a news channel in the early hours of Saturday, the actor was in for a rude shock because lo and behold, he was actually attending a house warming ceremony of close friends and was present along with his mother there.
“There were 20-30 more families in presence at the venue and I don’t know how they can even call it a rave aprrty. I hope they know what it means,” he says.
Navdeep adds, “The party has kids doing some pottery and some ladies performing zumba. The kids danced too! Luckily my mother was with me at the event or it would end up hurting her and she would lose trust on me.”
Interestingly, the actor even shared a couple of pictures online and wrote, “Hey look i found pictures from the RAVE party I ran away with my mother and other family last night!! (sic).” And the pictures show little kids dancing! How irresponsibly the news has spread.
And we ask the actor what might have fuelled it, and he responds, “There was alcohol at the party and I think there was some issue related to the license to serve it. But that was solved and I was shamelessly brought in to the fiasco by irresponsible new people.”
