Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most talked film has been Gautamiputra Satakarni as it marks his 100th film in Tollywood as an actor. After an extensive search, keeping an end to rumours, the actor finalized Gautamiputra Satakarni which is currently under shoot. Talented director Krish who received National award for directing the best regional movie Kanche is directing the movie. Gautamiputra Satakarni is a historical movie which is about the Satavahana king Gautamiputra Satakarni. The movie has been made on a massive budget of Rs 60 crores and the shoot of the film will be wrapped up by the end of November.
After three back to back schedules, the shoot of the movie has been kept on hold as the director Krish is getting married. The latest news is that the movie’s release date has been locked and it will hit the screens on January 12th 2017 during Sankranthi. Shriya Saran is the female lead in the movie and she will be essaying the role of
Vashista Devi. Kabir Bedi and Hema Malini will be seen in other crucial roles in Gautamiputra Satakarni. Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi are producing Gautamiputra Satakarni on First Frame Entertainments banner.
