There is a publicity blitzkrieg that is being witnessed for Sankranthi films – ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’. But for Balakrishna’s Christmas release, the promotion is almost nil. Apart from releasing a still or two from the movie, the team has not done anything that would garner the attention of the moviegoer.
The film’s title has also not yet been announced even though ‘Ruler’ is the name that has been fixed. There is no teaser or song release either. The action entertainer is going to hit the screens on December 20. On the same day, Sai Dharam Tej’s ‘Prati Roju Pandage’ and Ravi Teja’s ‘Disco Raja’ are going to be released and these movies have already released a song or two. Even Salman Khan’s Christmas release ‘Dabangg 3’ is also out today.
Balakrishna’s film, on the other hand, is maintaining a completely low profile. Director KS Ravi Kumar and the film’s team are not well-versed with today’s publicity technique. This could be the main for lagging in promotions.
