The YCP won with a landslide victory despite numerous disadvantages of Jaganmohan Reddy. The TDP leaders were initially surprised at this but now they are realising why their development and welfare mantras have failed. Chandrababu Naidu himself has told party leaders that different factors combined to create a massive sympathy wave for Jagan.
Especially, the ‘One Chance’ plea made by Jagan, his mother Vijayamma and sister Sharmilamma has consolidated this sympathy factor. This one slogan alone has moved and made voters to think sympathetically about Jagan’s problems like CBI illegal assets cases, fighting a lonely battle, death of his father YSR, etc.
The marathon walkathon Padayatra has also played its role in making voters think why they should not give chance to Jagan this time. YCP propaganda managers have also put arguments before voters why they should give another chance to Chandrababu who has already ruled for over 14 years.
