Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan said that he never spoke against the location of Andhra Capital City in Amaravati. He clarified that he just opposed the TDP government’s manner of taking over farmers lands at that time. Pawan condemned YCP Ministers statements during his visit to the stalled works of multi-crore towers in the Capital City area. The local farmers, public and construction workers narrated their problems to him.
Pawan warned the ruling YCP Ministers against further creating confusion on the Capital issue. AP is already suffering a lot because of unscientific, unjust separate statehood. The thoughtless acts of the YCP are posing greater dangers to the state now. Senani asked the YCP Regime to take action if it really found irregularities and corruption in the Amaravati works. But it’s not correct to totally cripple the city for the sake of settling political differences.
Pawan Kalyan said that if needed, he would meet and discuss with PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the problems of Andhra. This is the first time that Pawan spoke of meeting BJP bigwigs after the 2019 election. Pawan supported the TDP-BJP alliance which won over Jagan in 2014. The three parties contested separately in 2019 and were defeated by YCP.
