YSRCP chief YS Jagan criticized “Eenadu” and “Andhra Jyothi” newspapers through his twitter as they published the news about his wife Bharathi’s name been included in charge sheet by enforcement directorate in disproportionate assets case. He expressed his anger through the twitter. However, people are discussing how Sakshi behaved in the past and many recalled Sakshi publishing ETV Suman’s interview on front page of Sakshi in the past.
Jagan’s response to Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy publishing the news:
Jagan tweeted “Shocked to see the reports by select media today, where my wife was named as accused by ED. Saddened to see politics degraded to such levels where even family is not spared.” He also wrote an open letter to people of Andhra Pradesh in which he alleged political conspiracy behind this news and he questioned how these newspapers can know even before the charge-sheet information officially reaching them. He even questioned why still there is no progress in vote for note case on Chandra Babu even after coming out of NDA. But nowhere had he condemned the ‘factual content’ of the news that “Bharati’s name included in charge-sheet”. So it means, Bharati name is indeed included in charge sheet.
ETV Suman’s interview in Sakshi paper earlier:
However, people now recalled old incident when Sakshi paper interviewed ETV Suman and published it on its front page. Everyone knows that at that time ETV Suman was struggling with cancer and he had some issues with family and especially with his father Ramoji Rao, as he advised Suman to be careful with a few friends. However ETV Suman, as he is popularly known, didn’t pay heed to the advice of his father. It was a sensitive issue for their family and it was purely personal issue. But Sakshi paper interviewed ETV Suman and his friend and published that full-page interview on its front paper. Reportedly, Ramoji Rao was very upset with Sakshi paper interviewing his son and trying to damage his image using his own son. Now YS Jagan is preaching about journalistic values to the media, but if he really introspects himself, he would understand he and his media did similar things in the past.
Jagan dragging Pawan’s family life into politics very recently:
Moreover YS Jagan saying “Saddened to see politics degraded to such levels where even family is not spared” also not going well with people because it is very recently he attacked Pawan Kalyan on personal front and dragged his family life into politics. The language he used while attacking Pawan also was criticized a lot.
So YS Jagan preaching on both the topics – first one , media publishing news about family members, second one, dragging someone’s personal life into politics, both seems to have backfired as he and his media did exactly same things in the past.
