It is known news that Kathi Mahesh was expelled from city of Hyderabad after making controversial comments on Hindu gods. He was shifted from Telangana to AP by the police. Today he tried to convene a press meet in Pileru in Chittoor district but Police who got the information about this reached the venue and halted his press meet and took him into custody and later moved him from Piler to Madanapalli. Police, as per reports, are planning to shift him to Bangalore from there.
Expressing opinion and convening a press meet is part of freedom of speech, a fundamental right guaranteed by constitution to every citizen. Police stopping him exercise his fundamental right is surprising the analysts and intellectuals. However, common people are opining he has misused his fundamental rights several times in the past and he is the only one responsible for his present condition.
