In what could be termed as the biggest development in ‘Federal Front’ after the KCR – Didi meets, actor Prakash Raj was seen stepping into the Telangana Assembly along with Telangana CM KCR. Political analysts were quick to paint ‘political’ colour to the whole episode.
Since the brutal assassination of the Right-wing critic, journalist Gauri Lankesh in Bengaluru last September (5th September 2017), actor Prakash Raj has been highly vocal both on social media and on electronic media. He did not shy away from making strong remarks against the BJP government, and PM Modi.
It is worth noting that, Prakash Raj filed a defamation case BJP MP Pratap Simha, and sought a compensation of Re 1. In this context, the meeting between Prakash Raj and KCR that too in the Telangana Assembly premises have fueled the speculations that, KCR is gathering anti-BJP /anti-Modi elements under one roof. Prakash Raj is likely to join KCR’s ‘Federal Front’, analysts said.
Prakash Raj is expected to attend lunch with KCR in Pragathi Bhavan today afternoon.
