Sensational director Puri Jagannadh who has been struggling with debacles feels that Mehbooba is the right comeback. The film is a re-launch for his son Aakash Puri as a lead actor and the entire shoot has been wrapped up last night. Touted to be a romantic saga set during the backdrop of India – Pakistan war that took place in 1971, the film introduces Neha Shetty to Tollywood. The teaser of Mehbooba has been an instant hit and kept the expectations on the film high.
The post-production work of Mehbooba is currently on cards and Puri is keen on releasing the film during summer. Aakash Puri’s transformation has been impressive and Sandeep Chowta composed the tunes for Mehbooba. Puri Jagannadh himself bankrolled the film on Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies banner. Mehbooba is a love story between an Indian guy and a Pakistani girl. An official release date of Mehbooba is expected soon.
