Unperturbed by the failure of ‘Paisa Vasool’, director Puri Jagannath has already announced his next project, a film starring his son Akash Ouri. Unlike the commercial masala films he churns out one after other, this one is going to be a ‘Love Story’ as revealed by Puri.
The crazy director who had once made a trendsetting love story, ‘Idiot’, is planning to make a love story which is set against India vs Pakistan backdrop with his son playing the hero. We hear that it is the love story of an Indian boy and a Pakistani girl, and it takes place near the border. Puri has three stories ready with him but he is inclined towards this India-Pak story only.
‘Its been a long time since I have done a complete love story. I have now prepared a pure love story for my son. This is based on a different point, and it is an honest love story,’ Puri divulged.
While Puri is busy assembling the crew, his friend Charmee has taken the responsibility of selecting the female lead. She has already auditioned a few girls and conducted photo shoots for some through Puri Connects. A final call hasn’t yet been taken. Meanwhile, Puri has roped in the very talented Sandeep Chowta to score music for his son’s film.
We have to see whether Puri has written a full-baked script at least for his son.
