While the pretty actor was appreciated in Jil, she drew flak for becoming fat and looking awkward in Shivam. Battling weight issues, Raashi Khan steps into another glam role but this one in Bengal Tiger does seem to have some substance. Like any other upcoming actor she says she is looking for roles of substance and stresses that she would like her writers to believe that there is more to a woman than her curves. She too plays the cop, “I always wanted to do something like this, I got to fire real bullets, I fought the baddies and the Khaki lifted my spirits,” she says. That is fine, Raashi but to get to do a substantial role in Telugu films one must be a part of a successful film and until and unless you exceed the audience’s expectations you don’t get meaty characters.It is either money or a fat role in Tollywood!
