The disgruntled Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy gave an open warning to Congress leadership, hinting that he will even go to the extent of resigning for MLA post, if not given Cabinet berth.
Speaking in his constituency Munugode on Tuesday, MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy expressed his anguish over denial of Cabinet berth by Congress leadership.
“I worked selflessly for the party and people. I was even part of Telangana movement. But I’m being denied Minister post. They promised me of Minister post when I joined Congress back from BJP. They assured me of Cabinet berth, if I ensure victory in Bhongir Loksabha segment,” said Rajagopal Reddy expressing his displeasure.
While Rajagopal Reddy didn’t take the name of Rahul Gandhi or CM Revanth Reddy, it was clear that he meant the decision makers in Telangana Congress and AICC High Command.
“Leaders who have joined Congress recently and even those who are junior to me have been given Minister posts but I’m being denied,” pointed out Rajagopal Reddy.
“But I’m not the one to beg for Minister post. You know what I did last time. By resigning for MLA post, entire KCR Govt came to the foots of Munugode people during bypoll. I will go to any extent once again,” said Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, giving an open threat to Congress leadership, that he is even considering resignation for his MLA post.
