Rana Daggubati turned a pan Indian actor because of his pick of films in multiple languages. Soon filmmakers from various languages approached Rana and he signed interesting films. One among them is 1945, a periodic drama that is directed by Sathyasiva which is set during the pre-Independence era. Regina Cassandra is the female lead and Nassar, Satyaraj will be seen in pivotal roles. The film’s half of the shoot is completed and 1945 is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages.
There has been no trace about 1945 in the recent times and a source close to the actor revealed that the film is kept on hold due to financial reasons. Rana is ready to return back to the sets once the makers are ready to invest and complete the shoot. Rana went to do a clean shave look for 1945 which was shot in Kochi and Sri Lanka last year. We have to wait to see if the film gets completed or goes shelved.
