Suriya’s most awaited film Singam 3 has been postponed several times and finally the makers revealed that the film will hit the screens on December 23rd during Christmas season which is perfect to mint huge money. However Suriya stepped out announcing that the film’s release has been pushed ahead due to external factors which are not under control. Trade analysts have been left in shock as Singam 3 had the best available date to hit the screens and mint huge money. However a source from the movie unit revealed that there are other reasons for the film’s postponement.
It has been revealed that Suriya wanted a clean U certificate for Singam 3 because of which he approached the revising committee. Suriya feels that the film’s action dose has been much lower than that in Singam 2 which got a clean U certificate. The actor is in no mood to compromise and will take a call on the release date after the revising committee issues their final decision on the censor certificate. Hari directed Singam 3 and Anushka, Shruti Haasan played the female leads. 2D Entertainments produced the film.
