As producer Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers has confirmed in a Television interview that they have met KGF director Prashant Neel upon the insistence of Jr NTR, fans of the actor are all kicked up, expecting a mass action thriller from the duo. That’s not as easy as said, though.
In fact, after the super success of KGF at the box office despite getting lashed by critics for lack of story and emotions, the elated director has first met Namrata Shirodkar in Tollywood. She’s said to have sent for him to check out if they could work out the possibility of a film with Mahesh Babu. Prashant is said to have told then, that he will approach with a story after he wraps KGF 2.
Then comes Mythri Movie Makers, who have also approached Prashant knowing that he was in Hyderabad and expressed their wish to make a movie with Jr NTR as a hero. Weighing both the options, as Mythri has sweetened their meeting with an advance amount, the KGF director is said to have tilted towards directing Tarak.
But the real thing is, many directors get advances like this after making a blockbuster film and Jr NTR is known for not okaying films until he likes the story. And these days, if a star hero rejects a story, directors are quick to narrate the same to another star hero before announcing the project. So, anything could happen!!
