The Congress party is taking advance steps to prevent BJP from taking any advantage on the day of election results. It is holding a meeting of the member parties of United Progressive Alliance to which all the neutral parties are also being invited. As part of this, Sonia Gandhi has invited Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and YCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy along with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.
The Congress leaders are confident of KCR’s support if the UPA emerges as the largest alliance in the next Lok Sabha. Though they have doubts, they are inviting Jaganmohan Reddy as well. Chandrababu has already intimated his no objection to the Congress. The election scene is changing fast on the national stage with rival NDA and UPA alliances hoping to outsmart one another.
