Vijayawada: BJP leader and former Union Minister Purandeswari had a tough time giving answers when the scribes shot volley of questions at her during a press meet held in Vizag on Wednesday.
While the mood is palpable in the State waiting for the Centre’s announcement on special status, Purandeswari faced the ire of the journalists when she said there would be an announcement in another few days.
“Why you are still dodging without giving clarity? The people had been waiting for two long years pinning hopes on special status,” questioned a scribe.
Soon after Purandeswari hinted at taking some more time to announce stand on special status during a press conference in Visakhapatnam, the BJP government seemed to have reconsider its decision not to delay any further.
